"GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN WARGA COVID-19 DAN PENCEGAHANNYA DI WILAYAH DESA SOOKO RW.11"
Abstract
Coronavirus 2019 or covid-19 is a pandemic that has resulted in high mortality rates in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia, on January 30, 2020 WHO has declared the COVID-19 pandemic as a public health emergency that is of international concern. Knowledge, attitudes affect behavior towards hygiene maintenance. Behavior towards hygiene maintenance has the greatest contribution to health status. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of Sooko residents about Covid-19 and its prevention. This research design uses descriptive research. The population of this research is all residents of Mengelo Hamlet, Sooko Village, RW. 011 a total of 101 Heads of Families. The sampling technique of this research is Non-Probability Sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people who fit the research criteria. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire adopted from Jessica Maudy's research, namely a knowledge questionnaire with 10 questions with right and wrong answer choices, and a preventive behavior questionnaire consisting of 7 questions with answer choices using a Likert scale entered in the google form. With the results of the validity test the value of r count 0.187-1 > r table 0.1411 and the reliability test with Cronbach's Alpha 0.77. The results of this study indicate that half of the respondents have sufficient knowledge 29 (58%), less 15 (30%), and good 6 (12%). Most of the respondents answered incorrectly on the point of prevention and transmission. Thus, researchers hope that with good knowledge the Sooko community can prevent Covid-19.
