HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI DAN SIKAP PERAWAT DENGAN KEPATUHAN DALAM PENERAPAN SURGICAL SAFETY CHECKLIST DI RUANG OPERASI RSUD PROF. DR. SOEKANDAR MOJOKERTO
Abstract
The risk of accidents is very high in surgery if the implementation is not in
accordance with the standards of operational procedures that have been set. The
surgical team certainly does not want to cause injury to the patient, but in fact
there are still patients who experience KTD and KNC, even to the point of causing
death or serious injury. The purpose of the study is to analyze the Relationship of
Motivation and Attitude of Nurses With Compliance In The Application of
Surgical Safety Checklist in the Operating Room. The design of this research is
correlational analytics with a crossectional approach. The variables of this study
are motivation and attitude as independent variables and compliance as dependent
variables. The population of this study is all nurses in the surgical room of Prof.
Dr. Soekandar Mojokerto hospital as many as 21 nurses. The sample was taken
with a total sampling technique of 21 respondents. The data was collected with
questionnaire instruments and tested with contingence coefficient and chi square
tests. The results of the statistical test obtained data value ρ for motivation = 0.001
and value ρ for attitude = 0.003, this shows that the value of ρ both independent
variables < α = 0.05 then H1 accepted means there is a relationship between
motivation and attitude with compliance with the application of surgical safety
checklist in the operating room of rsud Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojokerto. Based on
the intensity of the relationship shows the two variables included in a fairly close
relationship. Motivation and attitude affect nurse compliance in implementing
surgical safety checklist documenting so as to provide protection to nurses,
especially to patients, because patient safety is the main thing and must be
prioritized by health workers in providing health services.
