| dc.description.abstract | Anemia was one of the main nutritional problems in Indonesia. The risk of
iron nutritional anemia could cause low work productivity, decreased body
resistance to illness, low school children's learning ability, increased weight gain
in pregnant women and premature birth. One factor that affects the incidence of
anemia in pregnant women was diet. This study aims to determine the correlation
of eating patterns with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. The study
design uses a literature review. Data collection procedures using organize,
synthesize, identify, and formulate. The journals studied were 10 journals taken
from Google Scholar, Garuda Portal, SINTA, Science Direct by using keyword
dietary patterns and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. The time span
used was the 2016-2020 issue of the journal. The results of a journal review
indicated that eating patterns of pregnant women tend to be unhealthy, and most
pregnant women have anemia. The more healthy eating patterns of pregnant
women, the incidence of anemia decreases, conversely the more unhealthy eating
patterns of pregnant women, the higher the incidence of anemia in pregnant
women. This was because an unbalanced diet will cause an imbalance of nutrients
that enter the body and could cause malnutrition. Health workers were expected to
conduct counseling on anemia in pregnancy and counseling about the importance
of food consumption patterns with a balanced menu for pregnant women, as well
as innovative forms of counseling. | en_US |
