    Abstract
Diabetic ulcer patients feel insecure about the situation because there are wounds that are uncomfortable to see and smell bad, causing body image disturbance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the degree of ulcers with body image in diabetic ulcer patients. The design of this research is correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The study population was all diabetic ulcer patients at Sakinah Mojokerto General Hospital. The population of the second week of May to the second week of June 2020 was 59 people. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling, the number of samples 33 people. The instrument uses an observation sheet based on Wagner's degree to assess the degree of ulcer and MBSRQ questionnaire. The results of this study showed that almost half of respondents had experienced grade 1 and 2 ulcers namely 11 people (33.3%), the majority of respondents had a bad body image, which was 19 people (57.6%). Spearman Rho Test analysis results obtained pvalue of 0,000 less than α (0.05) and coefficient correlation value of 0.816 so that H1 is accepted, which means there is a strong relationship between the degree of ulcers with body image in diabetic ulcer patients in Sakinah Hospital Polytechnic at Mojokerto Regency. Diabetic ulcers can affect body image, because the shape of the feet and the odor generated, the greater the degree of ulcer, the greater the possibility of disability, causing loss of bodily function, decreased activity tolerance resulting in disruption.
