dc.description.abstract | Asthma is a disease that cannot be eliminated or cured, asthma attacks
generally occur due to exposure to trigger factors, failure of prevention efforts, or
failure of long-term management of asthma. Although asthma has decreased,
asthma recurrence has increased. The purpose of this study was to analyze the
factors causing recurrence in asthma sufferers. The research design used a literature
review study. Database searches were conducted on Google Scholar, Google
Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed by using keywords related to asthma
recurrence, namely Asthma Recurrence Factors, Asthma Incidence, Asthma
Relapse, Asthma Recurrence. Furthermore, the researchers took 10 relevant
journals published in English and Indonesian to be reviewed using the PICO
method before being included in the discussion according to the research. The
results of the analysis of 10 journals that have been reviewed and discussed found
that there is an influence of asthma recurrence with genetic factors, environmental
factors, clinical factors, stress, excessive exercise and age factors. The dominant
factor in asthma relapse is environmental factors (dust, cigarette smoke, weather
changes). Therefore, it is hoped that asthma sufferers in Indonesia can avoid the
triggers of asthma recurrence by keeping the environment clean so that they are not
prone to asthma recurrences. | en_US |
