dc.description.abstractRheumatism is most common and usually from factors, genetics, gender, infection, weight/obesity, age, in addition to this other factor that affects rheumatic diseases is the level of knowledge of Rheumatic disease itself is still very lacking, both in the general public and medical circles. The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of rheumatoid arthritis sufferers based on age and gender. The research design used is dextative. Variable research is characteristic of rheumatoid arthritis sufferers. The research population is all elderly with rheumatoid arthritis in Pasokan Public Healt Center at Tojo Una-una Central Sulawesi regency in June - August 2020 as many as 285 rheumatoid arthritis sufferers. The sample was taken with total sampling techniques as many as 285 respondents. Data is collected by data collection instrument based on medic record records and descriptively analyzed. The results showed that most of the respondents' ages were 75-89 years old in Pasokan Public Healt Center at Tojo Una-una Central Sulawesi regency and based on the gender of most female respondents in Pasokan Public Healt Center at Tojo Una-una Central Sulawesi regency. It is forbidden for health officials to conduct a program of counseling and counseling activities rheumatoid arthritis disease to the community in order to better understand the disease and be able to overcome the problems posed both independently and with the help of others.en_US
