dc.description.abstract | Nurses who work in the emergency room are required to have dexterity, skills and preparedness at all times in providing emergency patient services to prevent death and disability, causing nurses to experience a problem one of which is the workload. The workload given to emergency nurses is very fluctuating, it is feared that it will result in decreased performance including response time in handling patients. The purpose of this study is to explain the relationship of nurse workload with response time based on empirical study results. In this study using Literature Review study which is a series of activities relating to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. Literature search is done through pubmed, google scholar and google cindekia with keywords workload, nurse workload, response time, response time used 10 journals in this study. The results of the analysis in 4 international journals and 5 national journals show that there is a relationship between nurse workload and response time. This shows that there is a match between theory and the fact that the heavier the workload, the slower the team's response. | en_US |
