PENGARUH METODE EDUKASI BERMAIN ULAR TANGGA TERHADAP PRAKTIK CUCI TANGAN 6 LANGKAH PAKAI SABUN Studi Pre Eksperimental Di SD Negeri Janti 2
Abstract
The snake and ladder method can stimulate children learn to solveproblems. The purpose of this research was to prove the effect of the snake andladder playing educational method on the practice of washing hands using soap atSD Negeri Janti 2. The research method used was pre-experimental design with onegroup pre-test post test. The population of all students at SD Janti 2 is 174 students.
The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling so that the samplewas 87 students at SD Negeri Janti 2. The instrument in this research was an
observation sheet to assess hand washing which was carried out on May 23, 2020.Based on the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test analysis, it was found thatrespondents who in the right category pre test as many as 7 respondents with apercentage of 8%. Respondents with the right category post test were 82respondents with a percentage of 94.3%. Based on the results of the Wilcoxonsigned rank test analysis, it was found that the value = 0.000 and α = 0.05, thisindicates p <α, which means that this research show that the educational method of
playing snakes and ladders can increase the ability to practice 6 steps of washinghands using soap in SD Negeri Janti 2. The significant increase in the practice of
washing hands because respondents have been given education to play snake andladder can have an effect because this method cannot be separated from thepresence of images or photos that function to convey messages through the senses.
