FAKTOR-INTERNAL YANG MEMPENGARUHI MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA DARI INDONESIA TIMUR DI STIKES BINA SEHAT PPNI MOJOKERTO
Abstract
STIKes Bina Sehat PPNI has many students from Eastern Indonesia. Many factors motivate
them to study at this campus. Learning motivation is influenced by factors such as attitudes,
needs, stimuli, emotions, competencies, and reinforcement in the form of student learning
outcomes where student learning outcomes in the form of learning achievement. The purpose
of this study was to determine the internal factors that influence learning motivation in
students. The design of this study was descriptive. The population of this study were all
students from Eastern Indonesia in STIKes Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto in June 2020, 70
people. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling, so the sample numbered 70
people. The instrument used questionnaires for attitudes, life aspirations, and learning
achievements using Google form. The results of this study indicate that students have a
positive attitude of 37 people (52.9%), moderate life aspirations of 63 people (90%), learning
achievement is very satisfying namely 56 people (80%). Factors that influence the learning
motivation of students from Eastern Indonesia in STIKes Bina Sehar PPNI Mojokerto include
positive student attitude factors, moderate life aspirations, and very satisfying learning
achievement. A positive attitude because it is happy with the lectures presented, and has
aspirations to become a professional nurse even though it is based on the demands of
previous work, and very satisfying learning outcomes will further increase student
motivation.
