    Abstract
    The problem of drug abuse among adolescents is difficult to overcome, because the solution involves many factors and the cooperation of all parties concerned, such as the government, officials, society, mass media, families, teenagers themselves, and other parties, drug abuse occurs because the victim is not or do not understand about drugs so that irresponsible parties (dealers) can deceive them. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with audio visual media on knowledge in efforts to prevent drug abuse in adolescents in Segunung Hamlet, Dlanggu District, Mojokerto Regency. The research design used is quantitative research with the pre-experimental approach of one groub pre test and post test design. The variables of this study are health education through audio visual as an independent variable and adolescent knowledge about drugs as the dependent variable. The population in this study were adolescents in Segunung Hamlet, Dlanggu Subdistrict, Mojokerto Regency in 2019 as many as 25 people. The sample was taken by using total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument and followed by a descriptive frequency statistical test with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that after health education was carried out, the respondents' knowledge increased with a good percentage of 5 people (20%), enough 9 people (36%), and less. 11 people (44%) become good 13 people (52 %%), enough 12 people (48%), less 0 people (0%) This means that there is an effect of health education with audio-visual media on knowledge of drug abuse prevention. Providing proper health education is like using audio-visual media. It is hoped that adolescents can apply drug abuse prevention measures obtained from counseling so that they can help prevent drug abuse properly.
