dc.description.abstract | Discharge planning is a nursing intervention program that begins when patients
arrive with both acute and terminal illnesses to provide opportunities for patients
to carry out their own-self-care when they return home. Discharge planning can be
used as health care costs estimation data. The purposion has not been used by the
hospital source optimally. Implementation of discharge planning is very important
for patients and their families to continue own-self-care at home. The work load
on nurses which is sometimes could be hard, increases the level of stress,
exhausted the energy and interfere the implementation of discharge planning. The
purpose of this research is to analyse the workload relationship with the
implementation of discharge planning at Anwar Medika General Hospital. This
study used a correlational analytic study design with a cross sectional approach,
which was carried out on all nurses in the Anwar Medika General Hospital as
many as 62 respondents who were taken using saturated sampling technique. A
test result of a recent error (α) = 0.05 obtained a significance value of 0.040 and a
correlation force of (-0.621), which means there is a link between the workload of
the Nurse with the implementation of discharge planning with a strong
relationship level and the direction of the negative relationship. Where the higher
the nurse workload, the less discharge planning. The researcher is expecting that
this study could give a good impact for hospital either nurse to optimize discharge
planning implementation. | en_US |
