HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN MENJELANG PERSALINAN PADA IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA TRIMESTER III DI UPT PUSKESMAS MOJOSARI KABUPATEN MOJOKETO
Abstract
The first pregnancy is an important event for women. Anxiety and worried
are getting increased in the gestational age of Trimester III. If the anxiety is not
resolved, it will have an impact on the labor process. Husband supports, which are
given for the wife, could be information, emotional support, instrumental support,
and appreciation support. This study aims to discover the relationship between
husband supports and anxiety level on approaching labor in primigravida mothers’
of trimester III at UPT Puskesmas (The Technical Implementation Unit of
Community Health Center) Mojosari Mojokerto. The research design used
analytical-correlation with a Cross-sectional approach. The population in this
study is 62 people. The sampling techniques uses consecutive sampling by
fulfilling the research criteria conducted on 5 may until 20 may 2020, with 38
people of samples. The research instrument uses the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety
Rating Scale) and questionnaires. The result of the study shows that the
respondents who get the husband support well are 28 people (73.7%), and the
respondents who have severe anxiety are 3 people (7.89%). The analysis result of
Spearman Rho is obtained p Value 0.084 (p > 0.05), and the coefficient
correlation value is (0.284), which means that the relationship level between
husband support and anxiety level has a low relationship. Thus, H0 received,
which means there is no Relationship between Husband Supports and Anxiety
level before delivery of Primigravida Mothersin Trimester III at Health
CenterMojosari Mojokerto. Therefore, it is expected that the husband always
gives support to the pregnant mother so that the anxiety level in primigravida
mothers' is not getting severe or panic. Because the better of husband supports, the
anxiety level approaching labor in primigravida mothers' does not decrease.
