HUBUNGAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA PERAWAT DI RSI SAKINAH MOJOKERTO
Abstract
The problems that currently occured in hospitals were related to the dissatisfaction
of nurses' work and the poor working environment of nurses. Work environments
were often found in hospitals where lighting systems were lacking, humidity was
high, noise, etc. It could affect nurse job satisfaction. The purpose of this study
was to determine the correlation of the work environment with job satisfaction of
nurses. This research uses correlation analytic design with cross sectional
approach. The population in this study were all nurses in Sakinah Islamic Hospital
Mojokerto Regency as many as 108 people. The sampling technique of this
research was proportional random sampling, thus sample gotten were 85 nurses
The research instrument used a questionnaire. Analysis of data using the
Spearman Rho Test. The results of this study suggested that 58.9% of respondents
rated their work environment as good, and 60% of respondents had high job
satisfaction, 51.8% of respondents who rated their working environment as having
good job satisfaction. Data analysis suggested that there was a strong correlation
between work environment and nurse job satisfaction at Sakinah Islamic Hospital
Mojokerto. This was because the work environment was closely related to the
work of nurses, a good environment would support the performance of nurses to
be better so that nurses would feel satisfied with their work. Hospitals were
advised to conduct further studies in improving the work environment and
improving physic environment.
