    Abstract
Dehydration events that should not occur if parents, especially mothers know how to get first aid if their toddler is dehydrated. Dehydration that occurs in children if not handled quickly and appropriately will cause the child to go into shock and seizures and even become unconscious. One of the efforts to increase the knowledge of mothers with health education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of providing health education on first aid for children with dehydration on maternal knowledge. This research design used a literature review study. Literature search through google scholar, google scholar, scopus, wiley, pubmed with the keywords health education, first aid, first aid, dehydration, moderate mild severe dehydration, mother's knowledge, mothers knowledge. After collecting 10 journals, analysis was carried out using the PICO method. The results of the analysis in 4 international journals and 6 national journals show that there is an effect of providing health education on first aid for children with dehydration on maternal knowledge. Because in providing education, it can increase the knowledge of mothers in early handling of children who are dehydrated so that it can reduce the incidence of dehydration in toddlers. This shows that there is a correspondence between theory and the fact that health education can influence or accelerate someone to acquire new knowledge. Information obtained by a person will stimulate one's mind and ability to increase knowledge.
