PENGARUH PEMBERIAN TEH ROSELA TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI
Abstract
High blood pressure is an increase of the blood pressure in the arteries. Hipertensi
does not look at age, gender, race, and religion. The high blood pressure is usually
characterized by headaches, stiff necks, bleeding in the nose (epitaxis) fatigue, nausea, and
blurred vision, with the blood pressure >140/90 mmHg, and for the elderly is about >160/100
mmHg which is called hypertension. The hypertension becomes two leading causes of the
death risks in the world. The rosella flowers, which are processed into tea, are used as a new
solution to reduce the risk of heart disease, by drinking the rosella tea can reduce plaque in
the vascular, blood circulation, and elasticity of the blood vessels so that blood pressure can
reduce. The aim of this research was to prove the effect of giving the rosella tea on reducing
high blood pressure to the people who have hypertension. Based on the empirical studies in
the last five years, the research design that used was a literature review of 10 journals review
method, which is 5 national journals and 5 international journals taken from several databases
including Google Schoolar, search engine PubMed, ProQuest, Microsoft Academia, and
Scient Direct from 2015 to 2019. Most of the results of the analysis test are P value = 0,000
dan α = 0,05 so that the results obtained P <α which means that in this research shows there
is an effect of rosella tea on reducing the blood pressure in patients with hypertension. There
is a reduction in the blood pressure in the patients with hypertension, it is expected that
people with hypertension consumes the rosella tea everyday can reduce their blood pressure.
The rosella tea one alternative to decrease the blood pressure in the people with hypertension.
