dc.description.abstractThe corona virus or Covid 19 is thought to be carried by bats and other animals that are eaten by humans until transmission occurs. The corona virus is not only this time making citizens of the world panic. Having the same symptoms as the flu, the corona virus develops rapidly, resulting in more severe infections and organ failure. An effort for the role of an effective leader is the need to adapt to his leadership styles to the situation. The leader in the room is one of the elements that is very influential on a group or organization to determine and achieve the success of a group. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of nurses about the leadership style of the head of the room during the Covid 19 pandemic at Rs Anwar Medika Sidoarjo. The research methodology used qualitative research methods. The number of participants of several nurses at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo were 7 informants. With purposive sampling technique. Measuring tool using interviews. The results of this study were obtained by making decisions during the Covid 19 pandemic, the head of the Rs Anwar Medika room used three methods, namely deliberation, advocating, and imposing a will. The way the head of space moves his subordinates by using 4 ways, namely directly discussed, called one by one, directing and meeting. The personality of the head of space during the Covid 19 pandemic was to remind, to be more strict, to be monitored and to warn. The ability of the head of space in communicating is assertive, using polite language, respecting innate things and reprimanding subordinates. The relationship between the head of office and subordinates during the Covid 19 pandemic was good, neutral, harmonious and safe. The attitude of the head of room in receiving input during the Covid 19 pandemic was welcome, generous, listening to input, never angry and open. The atmosphere of the hospital environment during the Covid 19 pandemic was representative, comfortable, conducive, peaceful, and together. Checking the validity is done by regularity of observations, triangulation of data. The leadership style of the head of the nursing room has the responsibility of moving the nurse in charge. Therefore, the head of the room also has a duty to evaluate the performance of nurses.en_US
