ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF PADA PASIEN ASMA BRONKIAL DI WILAYAH KERJA RSUD SUMBERGLAGAH MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Bronchial asthma is a disease with a variety, which is characterized by a history of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and cough that varies over time and in intensity, accompanied by variations in airway obstruction during expiration. Nursing problems that are often experienced by people with bronchial asthma are ineffective airway clearance. The purpose of this case study is to be able to carry out nursing care with the problem of ineffective airway clearance in bronchial asthma patients in the work area of Sumberglagah Hospital, Mojokerto. The methods used in this study include interviews, observation, physical examination and documentation studies. After nursing care for 2x24 hours, the results showed that client 1 and client 2 could achieve the criteria for increased effective cough results, decreased sputum production, decreased wheezing, decreased rongkhi, decreased dyspnea, respiratory rate 16-20 x/minute, and improved breathing patterns. Nursing care can be continued by providing education to patients and families about patient care at home, providing information about exposures that can trigger asthma attacks, always maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, recommending regular drinking of warm water, practicing effective coughing techniques, and paying attention to cough etiquette.
