ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN DENGAN MASALAH HIPERVOLEMIA PADA PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RSU HAJI SURABAYA
Abstract
Chronic kidney failure is a progressive decline in kidney function in a few
months or years. Failure of kidney function will result in systemic disorders, so
the body's hemodynamics will decrease and be life-threatening because kidney
function fails to maintain metabolism and fluid and electrolyte balance. Kidneys
that are unable to filter metabolism that should be excreted through urine will
cause hypervolemia problems caused by decreased urine output and excess fluid
and sodium intake. The purpose of this case study is to apply nursing care with the
problem of hypervolemia in patients with chronic renal failure at RSU Haji
Surabaya. The method used is descriptive in the form of case studies. Participants
in this case study 1 participant with hypervolemia problems. Data collection
techniques included interviews, physical examinations, and documentation. From
the assessment data obtained by the client, he has undergone regular hemodialysis,
decreased urine output, shortness of breath, hypertension, and edema of the lower
extremities. After making a plan, the researcher carries out nursing actions in
accordance with the plan, namely limiting fluid and sodium intake, and
monitoring fluid balance. The results of the evaluation after limiting fluid and
sodium intake and monitoring fluid balance appropriately can overcome
hypervolemia.
