dc.description.abstract | Contiunity of Care is a new paradigm in an effort to reduce maternal, infant and child
mortality. Continuity of care and documentation of SOAP during the puerperium, neonates and
family planning using midwifery management. The midwifery care given to Mrs. "A" lasts 6
weeks from the postpartum period, neonates to family planning with a frequency of 4 postpartum
visits, neonates 3 times, and family planning 1 time.
There were no complaints in the midwifery care during the puerperium, the first week
of discharge of lochea rubra, then lochea sanguinolenta and lochea alba, respectively, the
decrease in TFU was good, at 2 weeks post partum was not palpable. Neonatal care shows that
the baby is given exclusive breastfeeding, the umbilical cord is loose after 5 days, the baby's
stomach sounds crucuk-crucuk sounds. The mother decided to use injectable birth control 3
months after her child was 7 months old.
The puerperium is normal without any complications. During providing midwifery care
to neonates, no problems were found due to normal bowel sounds in infants. In providing birth
control midwifery care, mothers have been given counseling and decided to use 3-month
injection contraception.
It is hoped that the midwifery profession in providing continuous midwifery care
(continuity of care) will always implement midwifery management, maintain and improve
competence in providing support according to midwifery service standards. | en_US |
