    Abstract
A complex syndrome condition with ventricular failure to pump blood throughout the body. To fulfill vital organ perfusion, the kidneys activate the hormones renin, angiotensin and aldosterone to increase preload and afterload. On the other hand the effects of fluid retention which ultimately the body experiences hypervolemia. The aim of this study is to be able to apply nursing care standards for clients with hypervolemia problems with umbilical cord decompensation. The method used in conducting nursing care is a descriptive method in the form of case studies. The standard of nursing care in both patients with hypervolemia starts from assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Data assessment was obtained by interview, observation and documentation. Based on data taken by both clients who have hypervolemia, characterized by orthopnea, positive fluid balance, and swelling or edema in the extremities. The interventions provided included administering oxygen, performing fluid balance, collaboration with doctors in the provision of deuritic therapy, and providing education about the cardiovascular diet. After giving hypervolemia nursing care to both patients can be overcome by not showing shortness of breath, fluid balance, and the absence of edema in both patients. Provide education to patients and their families in limiting fluid and sodium intake and recognize signs of hypervolemia in decompensatio cordis so that patients can prevent the recurrence of this problem.
