ASUHANKEPERAWATANDENGAN MASALAH RISIKO DEFISIT NUTRISIPADA PASIEN TYPHOID DI PKM BANGSAL MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Typhoid is an acute infection of the small intestine caused by the bacteria salmonella
typhi. Transmission of typhoid through the fecal and oral route that enters the human body through
contaminated food and drink. The purpose of this nursing care is to provide nursing care to
children with typhoid with a risk of nutritional deficits in the PKM Ward, Mojokerto Regency.
The method used in nursing care is the case study method in the form of a case study. Participants
in this case study were 1 participant with a nutritional deficit risk problem. Data collection
techniques included interviews, observation, physical examination and documentation. The results
showed the assessment that the client experienced decreased sense of desire, anorexia. Intervention
Risk of nutritional deficit is given small but frequent feeds. After nursing care, the risk of a
patient's nutritional deficits can be resolved by an increase in appetite. Providing education to
families in maintaining children's diet so that children do not eat food carelessly. and the most
effective way to overcome the problem of the risk of nutritional deficits is to provide small
amounts of food but often because it can increase the child's appetite, so that it can prevent the risk
of nutritional deficits.
