dc.description.abstract | Kidneys are important organs whose function is to remove metabolic wastes and toxins in the body in the form of urine. The kidneys are not able to filter metabolism that should be excreted through the urine so that it can cause problems with excess fluid volume. The purpose of this study was to carry out Nursing Care for Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) Clients with Excess Fluid Volume Problems with hemodialysis at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a case study approach. The research was conducted at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo in March 2021. The data collection techniques used included interviews. Participants 1 and 2 both had hypertension and edema in the lower extremities/legs. The nursing interventions given are limiting fluids and sodium, and doing fluid balance. The results of the evaluation showed that participants 1 and 2 had reduced and lost edema, decreased blood pressure, increased urine output. If sodium and water restrictions are carried out, proper monitoring of fluid balance can overcome excess fluid volume. | en_US |
