Abstract
Diabetic nephropathy is a condition in which persistent microalbuminuria together with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes leads to kidney failure. This study aims to study and understand in depth the nursing care for diabetic nephropathy sufferers with nutritional deficit problems in the hemodialysis room at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo. The writing of this scientific paper uses the design of a scientific paper in the form of a case study to explore the problem of nutritional deficits in patients with diabetic nephropathy in the hemodialysis room of Anwar Medika Hospital, Sidoarjo. Case studies using nursing care are a series of individual nursing processes in patients diagnosed with diabetic nephropathy with nutritional deficit problems with the assessment process, establishing nursing diagnoses, planning, performing nursing actions and evaluating patients. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that the assessment requires effective communication skills, nursing diagnoses are adjusted to the patient's condition, planning and implementation are supported by supporting conditions and facilities, evaluation is carried out directly, both formative and summative. It is hoped that more attention will be given to local health workers, they should improve their motivation and encouragement in undergoing the process of adjusting the diet or nutritional diet that has been previously instructed in patients with diabetic nephropathy, especially in patients with nutritional deficit problems.
