    Abstract
    Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease of the small intestine with symptoms of fever for one week accompanied by disturbances in the digestive tract caused by salmonella thyphi bacteria. These symptoms usually appear 1-3 weeks after exposure and one of the problems that occurs is Hyperthermia (37.8Cﹾ-38.8ﹾC) where there is a failure of thermoregulation in the hypothalamus. The purpose of this case study is to provide a real picture of the implementation of nursing care in patients. with the problem of Hyperthermia in the case of Typhoid Fever at the Sumobito Health Center, Sumobito District, Jombang Regency. The method used is descriptive in the form of cases. The provision of nursing care to two patients who experienced hyperthermia in the case of Typhoid Fever started from assessment, diagnosis, planning, action and evaluation. The data of this study were taken by interview techniques in assessment, physical examination, observation, documentation and data collection with the criteria of male or female patients, patient age < 40 years, complaining of fever (temperature above 36.5-37.5ﹾC) with medical diagnosis Typhoid Fever. After taking nursing care for 3x24 hours, hyperthermia in both patients was resolved with the criteria for temperature within normal limits (36.5-37.5ﹾC), pulse in the normal range (60-100x/minute), no changes in skin color, no shortness of breath. , and no seizures. All of the interventions that have been carried out, recommend drinking water as a substitute for fluids in the body so that dehydration does not occur, and giving warm compresses is an action that can accelerate the decrease in body temperature so that it is expected that the implementation will be carried out correctly and correctly according to the procedure.
