dc.description.abstract | Bronchial asthma is one of the most common respiratory diseases in the community. Asthma is a respiratory disease characterized by increased responsiveness of the tracheobronchial tree to various types of stimuli (Isselbacher, 2013). The respiratory tract reacts to narrowing and blocking the incoming air until it causes clinical manifestations so that problems arise, one of which is the ineffective breathing pattern (Aria & Khairun Nisa, 2015). The general objective is to obtain an overview and direct experience in providing nursing care to patients with ineffective breathing patterns with bronchial asthma problems at the Habibah Krembung Clinic, Sidoarjo. The design of this study for 4 days using the case study method, participants in this case were carried out on 2 clients of ineffective breathing patterns with bronchial asthma problems. The results of the nursing assessment carried out on client 1 and client 2 were different. Client 1 complains of shortness of breath, cough. While client 2 complained of shortness of breath, cough accompanied by dizziness. Dizziness because the second patient felt tired from going up and down stairs and finally feeling dizzy BP 160/90 mmHg SpO2 94%. Based on the nursing evaluation that has been carried out for 4 days, the results on client 1 and client 2 are faster than client 1. On client 1 RR 20x/minute, right and left wheezing breath sounds ic 4 and ic 5 are gone, the first day until the fourth day the problem is resolved . While client 2 RR 23x/minute, wheezing breath sounds right and left ic 4 and ic 5 are starting to decrease, have shown significant progress although not maximized but there is a client's health development is much better than before the client has felt less shortness of breath and cough is reduced with problems partially resolved. Compliance with the client's obedience in receiving nursing interventions will determine the achievement of optimal outcome criteria. | en_US |
