ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KELEBIHAN VOLUME CAIRAN PADA KASUS GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RUANG HEMODIALISA RS GATOEL MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Chronic kidney failure has become a world health problem today. The incidence of chronic kidney failure in Indonesia is quite high from year to year. Clients with chronic renal failure will usually appear with excess fluid volume which can affect the patient's quality of life. With complaints that are often experienced, namely oliguria (little urine output), edema, fatigue, and shortness of breath. The most important effort in dealing with excess fluid volume is to limit fluid and sodium intake to prevent further edema and complications. The purpose of this study is to carry out nursing care for clients with chronic kidney failure who have excess fluid volume. The design carried out in this study is a case study with interviews, observation and documentation methods using a medical-surgical nursing care format for 2 respondents with a diagnosis of chronic kidney failure, both clients with edema. Client 1 anasarca edema, the second client edema in the extremities, oliguria. Intervention and implementation of fluid balance regulation with health education about limiting fluid and sodium intake. In the evaluation results, it was found that both clients reached partially resolved, namely there was a decrease in edema, increased urine, vital signs within normal limits. This is due to the client's lack of adherence to fluid intake restrictions.
