ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN DENGAN MASALAH KEPERAWATAN NYERI AKUT DENGAN INTERVENSI RELAKSASI BENSON PADA PASIEN KISTA OVARIUM DI RUANG MAWAR RSUD BANGIL PASURUAN

Abstract

The health problem that is still often faced by women today is the health of reproductive organs, the current state of reproductive health in Indonesia is still far from expectations when compared to other countries, which are the joint responsibility of the community and health workers. One of the reproductive diseases, namely ovarian cysts, ovarian cysts are neoplastic bags found in the ovaries that can contain fluid or semisolid material, can occur at all ages from infancy to menopause, even during pregnancy can be benign or malignant which can cause pain. The purpose of the study was to carry out maternity nursing care with acute pain problems with Benson relaxation intervention in ovarian cyst patients in the Rose Room of Bangil Hospital. The research design is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The population is patients who are hospitalized with ovarian cysts in the Rose Room with 1 participant Mrs. T, the data is taken by interview and observation. The results of the research on acute pain nursing problems can be resolved by Benson relaxation with the results of a pain scale of 7 being 5 on the first day and a pain scale of 7 being 0 on the fourth day. In this study, actual nursing diagnoses, risks and health promotion occur in patients with ovarian cysts, Benson's relaxation non-pharmacological therapy is expected to be effective reference in the application of nursing care for ovarian cysts with acute pain because it is cheaper, simple and does not cause adverse side effects in the future in accordance with nursing documentation standards that are used as guidelines so that nurse performance and service quality increase.
