ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN DEFISIT PERAWATAN DIRI PADA LANSIA DENGAN DEMENSIA DI UPTD PESANGGRAHAN PMKS MAJAPAHIT MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Dementia is a someone condition who decrease a memory and mind. It has an effect to self care as take a bath, dressy, eat, and elimination. A problem that often happen on client is deficit self care. This research is for knowing nursing care on elderly with deficit self care in dementia patient at UPTD Pesanggrahan PMKS Majapahit Mojokerto. Types of research that used is a descriptive research which case study in two patients with dementia who deficit self care. Method of collecting data is interview, observation, documentation in UPTD Pesanggrahan PMKS Majapahit Mojokerto. The result of case study knowing when nursing at 5x24 jam hour with nursing intervention as a self care on first and second patients there are increase to do self care like take a bath, dressy, eat and elimination. By the result, for the next researcher can spend time with the patients for practice independence when do self care. And for nurse, may can be expected active role to the patient with a problem of deficit self care and always accompany to doing activities like take a bath, eat, dressy and elimination so can increase independence for self care than the problems can resolved.
