HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DENGAN PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DIDESA KRAJAN TIMUR RT/RW 20/04, KRIAN

Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the Sars CoV-2 virus (coronavirus) and is one of the leading causes of death in the world. The main problem is that the distribution of Covid-19 is faster due to low knowledge so that there is no change in people’s behavior to prevent Covid-19. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between of Krajan Timur Rt.20 Rw.04, Krian. The research design used an analytical observation approach. The population is all the people of Krajan Timur Village Rt.20/04, Krian with the criteria for the age of 17-35 years as many as 200 people to get a sample of 133 people taken by random sampling. The independent variable is knowledge and the dependent variable is Covid-19 prevention behavior. Data was taken using a questionnaire. After collecting the data, data processing was carried out and continued with cross-testing with the help of SPSS version 25.0. The result showed that the level of knowledge of the people of Krajan Timur village Rt.20 Rw.04, Krian about Covid-19 prevention was mostly in the sufficent category, meanwhile the behavior of the people of Krajan Timur village Rt.20 Rw.04, Krian about Covid-19 prevention mostly negative behavior. Respondents with sufficient knowledge have negative behavior because of the level of education that affects theirbehavior. People who have less knowledge but positive behavior can influence their environment because the influence of people with positive behavior can cause respondents to have less knowledge to follow positive behavior.
