HUBUNGAN PERAN ORANGTUA DENGAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT PADA ANAK USIA DINI DI DESA SUWAYUWO KECAMATAN SUKOREJO KABUPATEN PASURUAN

Abstract

Behaving in a clean and healthy life can improve the quality of life as well as resilience from attacks of various diseases. Through the role of parents, children will have a pattern of clean and healthy living behaviors that will be practiced throughout their lives. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of the role of parents with clean and healthy living behaviors in early childhood in Suwayuwo Kec. Sukorejo Pasuruan Village. The design of this study uses correlation analytic design with a cross sectional approach. The variables of this study are the role of parents as independent variables and clean and healthy living behaviors as dependent variables. The study population is parents who have early childhood in Suwayuwo Kec. Sukorejo Pasuruan village as many as 191 parents. The sample was taken with a Purposive Sampling technique of 69 samples. The results of the study of 43 respondents (62.3%) parents did not play an active role in parental roles and 45 early childhood (65.2%) with less clean and healthy living behaviors. Spearman rho statistical test results obtained a value of p value = 0.000 < α = 0.05 thus the H0 hypothesis is rejected and Ha accepted. So the conclusion is that there is a relationship between the role of parents and clean and healthy living behaviors in early childhood. Early childhood if taught to behave clean and healthy life will be a positive behavior that will be practiced throughout his life wherever the child is.
