Analisa Tingkat Kepatuhan Terapi ARV Pada ODHA dalam Layanan ODHA-link di Klinik CST RSUD Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan

Abstract

Adherence taking drugs in PLWHA is absolutely possessed when initiating ARVs in an effort to improve the quality of life by lowering the amount of HIV virus in the blood, reducing the incidence of opportunistic infections, reducing the risk of transmission of the virus, and avoiding the onset of treatment failure. But there are patients who are late to take drugs, absent not taking drugs, or pass follow-up. The research is aim to find out the level of adherence ARV therapy to PLWHA of ODHA-link. The research design used in this study is descriptive. In this study used non probability sampling techniques by purposive sampling. The sample taken was a sample that met the criteria of inclusion and exclusion which was a patient of CST clinic of Bangil Hospital who started ARV therapy in the range of 12-24 months of therapy in June 2021 as many as 60 respondents. The instrument of research using the MMAS-8 questionnaire sheet which was translated into google form. the data analysist using descriptive statistic. The results of the study showed that the level of ARV therapy compliance in respondents found that 30 respondents (50%) in low compliance, 29 respondents (48.3%) in moderate compliance and 1 person (1.7%) with high compliance. It can be concluded that the existence of ODHA-link services has not been able to boost the high level of patient compliance. It is necessary to improve therapeutic compliance in respondents and improve ODHA-link services in ARV therapy services at CST Clinic of Bangil Hospital in Pasuruan Regency so that the purpose of ARV therapy can be achieved optimally
