HUBUNGAN LAMA PERAWATAN PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA DENGAN STRES KELUARGA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS GEDONGAN KOTA MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Schizophrenia is the inferensh life who site in sequence from all inferensh life who exist. The burden and pressure of caring for family members with schizophrenia appear to have an impact and influence on the psychological functioning of the family. One of the feelings felt by the families of schizophrenic patients is the stress experienced by the families of schizophrenic patients comes from their inability to adapt to the daily care demands of their family members. This study aims to determine the relationship between length of care for schizophrenic patients and family stress in the working area of the Gedongan Public Health Center, Mojokerto City. The design of this research is correlation analytic by using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all families with schizophrenia in the working area of the Gedongan Health Center with a sample of 42 respondents. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. (64,3%). The results of data analysis and processing with Spearman Rho obtained a significant ρ value (0,001) < = 0,05, meaning that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between length of care and family stress in schizophrenia patients in the working area of the Gedongan Public Healt Center, Mojokerto City with a value of r = -0,525 which indicates a very weak relationship. So it can be concluded that the length of treatment with family stress depends on the patient and the support of the family who treats schizophrenic patients.
