HUBUNGAN SUPERVISI KEPALA RUANGAN DENGAN TINGKAT KEPATUHAN PERAWAT DALAM PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI DI RSU ANWAR MEDIKA SIDOARJO

Abstract

ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE SUPERVISION OF THE HEAD OF THE ROOM WITH THE LEVEL OF NURSE'S COMPLIANCE WITH THE USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT IN RSU ANWAR MEDIKA Supervision of the head of nursing is very necessary in the order of nursing practice considering that professional nursing services need to be maintained, monitored, evaluated so that they can become better. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the level of nurse compliance in the use of personal protective equipment at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo. The research design used correlational analytic with cross sectional approach. The research population was all nurses in the inpatient installation room totaling 43 respondents in 5 rooms taken using random sampling technique. The instrument uses a questionnaire sheet and observation. Spearman Rho test results obtained value diperoleh Value = 0.002 < = 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, then there is a relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the level of nurse compliance in the use of personal protective equipment at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo, with a correlation value of 0.451 shows that the direction of the correlation is positive and with sufficient correlation strength. There is a significant relationship between the supervision of the head of the room with the level of nurse compliance in the use of personal protective equipment at Anwar Medika Hospital Sidoarjo. This is because the 4 aspects of supervision and the results of observations of the level of compliance with the use of PPE nurses are very related, the supervision of the head of the room on the level of compliance with the use of PPE is very influential and special supervision needs to be done to nurses in the use of good and correct PPE, in order to improve quality and health services.
