dc.description.abstract Knowledge about covid 19 in the society is still lacking, causing stigma among the community to still occur. This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and stigma in society. The research design used is correlational analytic with cross sectional approach. The variables of this study are the knowledge as an independent variable and the level of society stigma as the dependent variable The society population are Kedundung village which consists of the balongrawe, randegan and sekarputih. Families sampling for sampling technique that used ini this research are 70 families. This research instrument is a questionnaire for knowledge and stigma items. The results showed that respondents with sufficient knowledge level with moderate stigma were 19 respondents (73.1%). Those who have a low level of knowledge with a high stigma are 16 respondents (72.2%). Meanwhile respondents who have a good level of knowledge with moderate stigma are 13 respondents (59.1%) respondents who have a good level of knowledge with moderate stigma are 9 (40.9%).So it is hoped that society in the Kedundung area will be able to increase knowledge about covid 19 by looking for research journals or other reliable sources so that they understand about covid 19 and the bad stigma on medical workers does not occur. en_US
