HUBUNGAN KECEMASAN DENGAN TINGKAT KONTROL SERANGAN ASMA PADA PASIEN ASMA DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM MASYITHOH BANGIL PASURUAN

Abstract

Asthma is a disease that is still a public health problem. Asthma patients tend to have anxiety so that it can affect the control of asthma attacks. Asthma sufferers are not able to cure asthma but asthma patients can try to prevent its recurrence. The purpose of this study was to prove the relationship between anxiety and the level of control of asthma attacks in asthmatic patients at Masyithoh Islamic Hospital Bangil Pasuruan. The research method used is correlational with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted on April 19-19 May 2021 using the sampling technique in this study is Consecutive Sampling, so that the sample taken was 16 respondents. The instruments in this study were the HARS questionnaire and the ACT questionnaire. Based on the results of the analysis of the results of the analysis of the spearmen rho data, it shows that HO is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between anxiety and asthma attack control levels at Masyithoh Islamic Hospital Bangil Pasuruan, which is indicated by the value of value (0.000) < (0.05), with a level of There is a strong correlation shown by the correlation coefficient value of 0.614. There is a strong relationship between the variable between anxiety and the level of control of asthma attacks in asthmatic patients at Masyithoh Islamic Hospital Bangil Pasuruan, which means that the lighter the anxiety, the more controlled asthma attacks in asthma patients.
