dc.description.abstract The implementation of triage is influenced by several factors including high workload, if these factors are ignored, then the implementation of triage is not optimal so that it can cause errors in decision making, as well as resulting in disability and even permanent disability for patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' workload and the accuracy of triage implementation. The research method uses Literature Review. This literature review uses, Google Scholar and Science direct. At the beginning of the search with keywords: "Workload", "Implementation of triage" and "Nurse" obtained a total of 10 articles, after being filtered by observing the inclusion criteria, obtained 3 international articles and 7 national articles from 2016 to 2019. Literature review results From 10 journals, there are 8 journals that say that there is a relationship between workload and implementation of triage, but 2 other journals say that there is no relationship between workload and implementation of triage, but there are other factors that influence. It can be concluded that triage in providing immediate assistance to patients undergoing emergencies is largely determined by the workload of nurses and the training that is owned by nurses themselves. The solution that can be obtained is the workload of nurses in the emergency room is a problem that must be assessed and sought a solution so that the performance of nurses remains good and quality. en_US
