STUDI PENERAPAN PERILAKU CARING PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM SAKINAH MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Nursing services are currently not optimal and are still unsatisfactory one of the causes is due to the lack of caring behavior of nurses. This is a potential problem that can affect the quality of nursing services, because nurses who are less caring have a relatively large percentage. This study aims to determine the extant of nurse caring behavior towards patients at RSI Sakinah Mojokerto. This research design uses a descriptive survey method. The population in this study were all nurses in RSI SAKINAH MOJOKERTO as many as 156, the sampling technique used simple random sampling. The sample used in this research was 60 respondentsThe research instrument used Caring Behavior Assessment Tools (CBA) to test nurses caring behavior. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis. The results showed 98.1% of respondents rated nurses caring behavior as good. The need for nurses caring behavior in the service can have an impact on the comfort of patients treated. Increasing nurses' knowledge about caring behavior can be done by attending workshops or seminars on nurses caring behavior and including caring behavior as a standard in evaluating performance for nurses.
