ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN YANG MENGALAMI GANGGUAN CITRA TUBUH DENGAN KANKER YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RSUD SUMBERGLAGAH KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Cancer is a disease caused by abnormal growth of body tissue cells. One of the therapies used in cancer patients is chemotherapy. The consequences of giving chemotherapy can cause physical changes in cancer patients that will affect body image. undergoing chemotherapy at Sumbergalagah Hospital, Mojokerto. The method used in this research is descriptive method in a case study approach. Nursing care is carried out for 2 weeks on client 1 from April 13, 2021 to April 26, 2021, and client 2 from June 8, 2021 to June 21, 2021. the results of the study were obtained after nursing care 3x for 2 weeks it was hoped that the problem of body image disorders could be resolved, the client could build a trusting relationship and want to tell what was experienced. Evaluation on client 1 and client 2 the problem was resolved within 3 days with the general goal of the client being able to build a trusting relationship. In client 1 the goal has been achieved the client can build a trusting relationship with the nurse, while in client 2 the goal has been achieved even though at first the client was still hesitant to tell his condition more deeply. It is expected that the hospital can provide optimal health services, especially for breast cancer patients.
