dc.description | Nurses who care for patients with infectious diseases have a high
risk of exposure to contagion which causes high levels of stress and tension in
nurses. Management has made efforts to pay attention to the quality of life of
nurses in infectious disease installations, but nurses are still found to experience
Burnout Syndrome due to high workloads, less efficient organizational systems
regarding schedules and teams in shifts, and an unsupportive work environment.
Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the factors of individual, organizational, and
work environment efforts toward Burnout Syndrome in infectious disease
installations. Method: This research used a cross-section design with a sample of
1406 nurses at RSUD Dr. Soetomo. This research used a purposive sampling
technique, namely infectious disease installation nurses with the criteria of being
an executive nurse and not being on leave. Data collection using a questionnaire
includes independent variables in the form of individual effort, organization, and
work environment and the dependent variable in the form of Burnout Syndrome.
Data were analyzed using logistic regression with a p-value ≤ 0.05. Results: The
research results show that individual effort (0.018), organizational effort (0.032),
and work environment effort (0.006) have a significant relationship with nurse
burnout syndrome. Conclusion: Good individual, organizational and
environmental efforts have an impact on preventing burnout in nurses. This makes
infectious disease nurses, even with a high workload and risk of exposure, have
low Burnout Syndrome because they have good coping, a supportive
organizational atmosphere and a comfortable physical environment. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Perawat yang merawat pasien dengan penyakit menular memiliki
risiko terpapar penularan besar yang menyebabkan tingkat stress dan ketegangan
yang tinggi pada perawat. Manajemen telah memberikan upaya dalam
memperhatikan kualitas hidup perawat di instalasi penyakit infeksi menular,
namun masih ditemukan perawat mengalami Burnout Syndrome akibat beban
kerja yang tinggi, system organisasi kurang efisien terkait jadwal dan tim dalam
shift, serta lingkungan kerja tidak mendukung. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan
analisis faktor upaya individu, organisasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap Burnout
Syndrome di instalasi penyakit infeksi menular. Metode : Penelitian ini
menggunakan desain cross-section dengan sampel responden 1406 perawat
RSUD Dr. Soetomo. Penelitian ini dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu
perawat instalasi penyakit menular dengan kriteria berupa perawat pelaksana dan
tidak sedang cuti. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner meliputi variabel
independent berupa upaya individu, organisasi, lingkungan kerja dan variabel
dependen berupa Burnout Syndrome. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi
logistik dengan nilai p ≤ 0,05. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya
individu (0,018), upaya organisasi (0,032), dan upaya lingkungan kerja (0,006)
memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan burnout syndrome perawat. Kesimpulan :
Upaya individu, organisasi, lingkungan yang baik memberikan dampak mencegah
terjadi burnout pada perawat. Hal tersebut membuat perawat penyakit menular
walaupun dengan beban kerja dan risiko terpapar tinggi memiliki Burnout
Syndrome rendah dikarena memiliki koping yang baik suasana organisasi
mendukung, dan lingkungan fisik yang nyaman. | en_US |
