    Abstract
Family support is a much needed factor for breast cancer pa- tients who are undergoing chemotherapy so that it can motivate these patients in their treatment. The problem of support depends on the factors that influence it and depends on the patient's ability to accept and understand the form of support that has been given. This study aims to determine how the form of support received by chemothera- py patients. Using a quantitative descriptive research design, the population is all cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Bangil Hospital with a purposive sampling research technique with 39 re- spondents. Using a research instrument in the form of a question- naire in the form of a check list and presented in the form of a fre- quency distribution table. The results of this study indicate that all respondents received different family support. Most of the respond- ents received moderate support in three respects, namely emotional support as many as 22 people (56.41%), appreciation support as many as 21 people (53.84%) and information support as many as 20 people (51.28%) and almost all respondents as many as 31 out of 39 people (79.48%) received high instrumental support where instru- mental support is a real support in terms of assisting patients while patients undergoing chemotherapy. From these results, it can be seen that the support has different forms and depends on the respondent's ability to accept this form of support.
