HUBUNGAN ANTARA SANITASI MAKANAN MINUMAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA BALITA
Abstract
Food and beverage sanitation has an important effect on the growth and development process of toddlers. Nutritional status and food sanitation can cause stunting of growth and development in children under five with diarrheal disease. Toddlers who are directly affected by diarrheal diseases will experience dehydration or lack of fluids, but it can also cause shortness of breath. This literature review was an attempt to determine the relationship between food and beverage sanitation and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five. Design used in this paper was a literature review study by searching for sources used, namely Portal Garuda, Google Schoolar, Proquest, and Atlantis Press using the keywords "Food and beverage sanitation" and "incidence of diarrhea in toddlers" for national journals and " food and beverage sanitation ".and “diarrhea incidence in toddlers” for international journals. The time range used was journals published in 2017-2021. Based on the results of the articles that have been obtained that most of the food sanitation is not good and most of them have diarrhea. Conclusion of this study there is a relationship between food and beverage sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. This is because many mothers do not allow their children to snack carelessly, this is in accordance with the mother's confession in the field that they do not sort out the food for their children. This is because food and drink sanitation that is not good and not hygienic will cause diarrhea in toddlers.
