HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI DENGAN TINGKAT KEDISIPLINAN PERAWAT DI RSUD PROF. DR. SOEKANDAR MOJOSARI MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Nurses' discipline was still low, such as nurses who were late for work hours. Low discipline in work and responsibilities caused the work not to be carried out in accordance with the job description. One of the nurse's discipline is influenced by the motivation of nurses. This study aimed to determine the relationship between motivation and the level of discipline of nurses. This research design used correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all nurses who served in RSUD Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari Mojokerto totaling 245 people. The sampling technique of this research was simple random sampling. The sample in this study was 49 people. The research instrument used google form. Data analysis used Spearman Rho test. The results showed that almost all respondents had a strong work motivation, as many as 40 people (81.6%), most of the respondents had a moderate level of nurse discipline, as many as 34 people (69.4%). Most of the respondents who hadstrong motivation had moderate level of nurse discipline, as many as 25 out of 40 people (62.5%), all of respondents who had moderate motivation had moderate level of nurse discipline, as many as 9 out of 9 people (100%). Data analysis used Spearman Rho test showed that p-value = 0.027 with a correlation coefficient of 0.315, meaning that there was weak relationship between work motivation and the level of discipline of nurses at Prof. Hospital. Dr. Soekandar, Mojokerto Regency. The stronger the motivation of nurses in working, the higher the level of discipline. This was because motivation was a force that encourages nurses to do work so that they are more disciplined in their work
