HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN TINGKATDEPRESI PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIS YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISA di RSI SAKINAH MOJOKERTO
Abstract
When someone is diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and undergoing
hemodyalisis, a psychological response emerges due to the long-term process of
hemodyalisis therapy, one of the psychological response that arises is depression.
Family support is an important factor for improving emotional and health status pf
patient undergoing hemodyalisis. This study aims to determine the Relationship of
Family Support with Depression of Chronic Kidney Failure Patients Underwent
Hemodialysis at Sakinah Mojokerto Hospital. The design of this study used a
correlational analytic cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all
patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent hemodialysis at Sakinah
Mojokerto Hospital on June, 22-24th 2020 was 30 patients. The research sample was
taken using a purposive sampling technique of 28 respondents. Data were collected
using a family support questionnaire and BDI-II (Beck Depression Inventory
II)questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Spearman rho test. The independent
variable is family support and the dependent variable is the level of depression. The
results showed that there was no relationship between chronic kidney failure
undergoing hemodialysis at Sakinah Mojokerto Hospital. With the Sperman test
results rhomen shows a correlation of p = 0.551 (p> 0.05)which means there is no
relationship between family support and depression level on hemodyalisis patient at
RSI Sakinah Mojokerto. The occurance of depression in hemodyalisis patient is not
only caused by lack of family support but also be caused by other factors.
