dc.description.abstract | Bullying is one of the issues of global concern. teenagers, parents, teachers
and school principals. Bullying is one of the factors triggering risky mental status
in adolescents. Mental status is more at risk for adolescents who bully than
victims of bullying. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of
bullying with mental status in students at SMK Pacet Mojokerto. The design of
this research is correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population
of this research is all teenagers in class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Pacet, Mojokerto
Regency in June 2020, 96 people. The sampling technique in this study was total
sampling, so the sample amounted to 96 people. This research was conducted in
June 2020. The instrument used the Olweus Bully / Victim Questionnaire for
bullying and Mental Health Inventory (MHI) for mental status. The results of this
study indicate that almost all (97.9%) respondents who tend to be bullied have a
high mental status, all (100%) respondents who tend to become victims have
moderate mental status, and almost all (83.3%) respondents who tend being a
bully victim has a high mental status. There is a correlation between bullying and
mental status in students at Pacet Vocational School in Mojokerto where students
who are bully and bully victims tend to have high mental status, whereas victims
tend to have low mental status. | en_US |
