HUBUNGAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN KEJADIAN INFEKSI SALURAN PERNAFASAN AKUT (ISPA) PADA ANAK BALITA: (Di Posyandu Puri, Desa Puri, Kecamatan Puri Kabupaten Mojokerto)
Abstract
Acute respiratory infections are acute infections caused by viruses and
bacterial. Factors that support the occurrence of acute respiratory infections
namely environmental factors. Individual factors of children, behavioral factors.
Toddlers with Nutrition Lack of body immunity will be low and will be
susceptible to infectious diseases, as well as Toddlers with More Nutrition if the
nutrients are not good then it will be susceptible to viruses / bacteria so it is easy
to get infections. This study aims to determine the nutritional status of toddlers
who have acute respiratory infections in posyandu puri, puri village, puri district
mojokerto regency. This study uses a correlations research design. The population
in this study was the entire toddler in posyandu puri, puri village, puri district of
mojokerto regency which amounted to 71 toddlers, using the total sampling
method. The variable in this study is the nutritional status that has acute
respiratory infection (ARI) in toddlers, using Z-score instruments then processed
through the editing, coding, scoring and tabulating stages submitted in the form of
frequency distribution. The results of this study indicate that nutritional status of
toddlers who have acute respiratory infections in posyandu puri, puri village, puri
district of mojokerto regency are mostly with good nutritional status as many as
47 toddlers (66,2%) and those experiencing ISPA 27 underfives (38,0%). It is
hoped that respondent families will be more active in participating in the
counseling program and other programs that have been provided by cadres or
puskesmas staff so that they can find out earlier about the prevention of infectious
diseases. Nutrit ional is one of the determinants of the qualit y of the body‟s
immune system, a person‟s nutrit ional needs are an est imated amount that is
sufficient to maintain health in general.
