    Abstract
Hyperthermia is an increase in body temperature above the normal range of the body due to a failure of thermoregulation in the hypothalamus. Hyperthermia if not treated will cause dehydration which will disrupt electrolyte balance and can cause seizures. It can also cause the patient's consciousness to decrease (sopor, coma, or delirium). The purpose of this case study is to apply nursing care with hyperthermia problems in typhoid fever patients at the Asy-Syifa Clinic, Pasuruan Regency. Participants in this case study were 2 participants who experienced hyperthermia with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation studies. From the assessment data obtained, both clients experienced hyperthermia with the results of client temperature 1 37.9ºC and client 2 37.8ºC. The results of the Widal test laboratory for both clients experienced differences in client 1 being positive for salmonella typhi O and H, paratyphi A and B while client 2 being positive for salmonella typhi O and H. After planning, the researcher carried out nursing actions according to the planned plan, namely compressing the client with warm water, and encourage clients to drink lots of water. The results of the evaluation after nursing actions for 3 days obtained the results of the two clients' problems being resolved. So that it can be considered complementary therapy to be used as an alternative independent nursing action by nurses to provide better services.
